Grazing Animals
Westwood, Figham and Swinemoor are primarily common pasture land. Every year, April to December, we open the pastures to grazing animals.
Westwood permits grazing for sheep and cattle, whereas Figham and Swinemoor offer grazing for horses and cattle.
The Pasture Masters accept applications for grazing from farmers at a low cost.
Our neatherds will check cattle at least twice daily whilst on the pasture.
